You can get free contraception through the NHS at various locations across Haringey. This includes long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) like IUDs (also known as coils) and emergency contraception such as the morning-after pill.

Emergency contraception 

Emergency contraception like the morning-after pill and IUDs are used soon after having unprotected sex. They significantly reduce your chances of getting pregnant. 

Emergency contraception is available for sale at most local pharmacies or for free from sexual health clinics, some GP surgeries, and participating Healthy Living Pharmacies. As this is a list, consider bulleting.

Free condoms for young people 

If you're between 13 and 24, you can get free condoms using the C-Card free condom scheme.

If you're over 24, you could still access free condoms from some sexual health clinics and Healthy Living Pharmacies. Please check directly with the service to confirm what’s available.

Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) 

Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) are reversible forms of birth control that can last for years after a single treatment. Examples of LARC include IUDs and contraceptive implants.
