Haringey Design Awards 2016
The overall winner of the 2016 Haringey Design Awards was Broadwaters Inclusive Learning Community, by Gollifer Langston Architects for London Borough of Haringey.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their suggestions; we received nearly 100 nominations! The independent judging panel decided winners in each category and overall winner; these were announced at the Awards Ceremony at Tottenham Town Hall on the evening of Thursday 13 November.
The winner of each category is shown to the right and below, as well as the names of the three Commendations awarded by the judges. More details of all the shortlisted projects, their architects, owners and photos of them can be seen by clicking on each category below or to the right.

Best Community Building
Winner: Broadwaters Inclusive Learning Community Project, by Gollifer Langston Architects for London Borough of Haringey.
Best Green Design
Winner: Crouch End Picture House, by Panter Hudspith Architects for Picturehouse Cinemas.
Commendation: Albion Knitting Factory, by Floyd & Field Ltd for Albion Knitting Company.
Best Historic Regeneration or Restoration
Winner: The Green Rooms, by SODA Architects developed plans to repurpose the building, for Nick Hartwright - hotel founder.
Best Place or Landscaping Scheme
Winner: Tottenham Green, by Architect: Adams & Sutherland and many other professionals , for the Haringey Council Tottenham Regeneration Team
Commendation: The Public Realm Works at Hale Village, by Landscape Architects BDP, for Hale Village London Limited.
Best Homes – larger developments
Winner: Cozens Place, by Unit One Architects for Reve Developments
Best House – domestic projects
Winner: Folds house, by Bureau de Change Architects.
Best Construction – commercial developments
Winner: Burger@N8 by Ali Mehmet.
Commendation: Crouch End Picture House, by Panter Hudspith Architects for Picturehouse Cinemas Ltd.
