Our Enforcement Officers provide a visible presence on the street within the borough and help resolve issues such as fly tipping, littering or highways offences.
Enforcement Officers wear a distinctive royal blue uniform, sometimes with a yellow high visibility jacket.
Enforcement Officers undertake inspections in every street in your area on a regular basis. They regularly talk to residents, businesses, and other community organisations to find out about local problems and how they can be solved.
Please see the contact us section below for the contact details of the Enforcement Officers.
Body Worn Video Cameras
Our civil enforcement officers are now using body worn video cameras. Mounted on the chest, these devices capture video and audio which can be used as evidence by the police and also aim to deter confrontation.
It is vitally important to us that our staff are kept safe and we will not tolerate abuse towards them. Enforcement work can put our officers in difficult situations and these cameras will help to protect them from potential attacks as they go about their duties.
