Residents, businesses and community groups lead the design of the future waste and street cleaning services
Residents, businesses and community groups in the borough, will lead on shaping the future provision of the Council’s waste and street cleaning service.
We want the community to voice their views on the future of waste and street cleansing. It is key that everyone has a say, so that we get this right together. We want to hear from every corner of the borough including young people, faith groups, businesses and community groups.
Residents, businesses, and community groups will be able to have their say at a number of interactive events taking place across the borough during December and January.
The in-person events will enable people to feed in their views and co-design the next waste and street cleansing strategy. A full list of the events can be found here.
It is vital that the Council gets this service right as waste and street cleansing is a high priority for people who live and work in the borough and their opinions will be key.
Cllr Seema Chandwani, Cabinet Member for Tackling Inequality and Resident Services, said:
"The waste service contract in Haringey is shortly coming to an end, and this presents an opportunity to work with you to reshape how your service is delivered in the future.
"We have a programme of co-production activities to help you get involved. Whether you think there is a need to adapt the sweeping regime to changing how we tackle graffiti, together we can shape waste services that better meet the needs of our borough".
To have your say, residents, businesses and community groups can visit one of our engagement events or if you cannot attend in person, residents can have their say here and businesses and community groups here.
