Spurs announce residents’ ticket scheme
Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to offer 2,500 season tickets and 2,500 matchday tickets for Haringey residents to buy, as part of the planning permission for their new stadium.
Residents can register an interest now in buying a season ticket or registering for the matchday ticket scheme. You can register for both but anyone that purchases a season ticket will be automatically removed from the match ticket process.
For details on how to register, visit: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/the-club/residents-ticket-scheme/ Register your interest before February 28 2018.
The allocation was agreed as part of planning permission negotiations between the club and Haringey Council. The new stadium, set to open later this year, will be the largest capacity football club stadium in London, creating a new sports and leisure destination for the capital with a hive of activity 365 days a year, a new museum, an innovative Skywalk, 21st century retail experiences, first-class conference and banqueting and high quality leisure facilities.
Cllr Alan Strickland, Cabinet Member for Housing, Regeneration and Planning, said:
The new Spurs stadium is going to be an amazing part of Tottenham, and will draw visitors from the across the country and beyond. Spurs’ commitment to residents’ season tickets is welcome news, and – along with more jobs, better housing and improved transport links – is an example of how local people will benefit from the great things happening in Tottenham.
