The Mayor of Haringey, Cllr Ahmed Mahbub, and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Michelle Simmons-Safo, were also in attendance alongside Haringey Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities, Cllr Ajda Ovat.
Taking place on the last Saturday in June every year, Armed Forces Day acknowledges the dedication and efforts of the brave men and women who serve – and served – in the British Armed Forces and pays tribute to them.
All of us at the council are grateful and thankful to both current and past service personnel and our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
