The occasion highlighted the work of Haringey Music Service and its collaboration with Music Hub partners to foster outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
Bambos Charalambous MP (Wood Green) and Jonathan Davies MP (Mid Derbyshire) joined The Haringey Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra rehearsal and participated in a round table discussion focused on the future of music education.
The conversation explored how Haringey Music Service supports primary school music teachers through partnerships with organisations like Musicalives and looked ahead to opportunities arising from the recent curriculum review, which was published on 5 November 2025.
The role of the National Centre for Music and Arts in shaping inclusive, high-quality provision was also discussed.
