“The council is committed to Haringey Borough playing at Coles Park and wrote a letter of support to the league confirming this last summer for the 2025/26 season.
“The council have offered a short-term lease while we work through the issues that the chairman has raised but until these issues are resolved we are not prepared to offer a longer lease.
“We are clear that it is a community asset that has to be held and used for community benefit.
“We feel that the current proposal from the chairman does not achieve that.
“We will continue to have dialogue and I will be attending a fans forum alongside a senior officer on Thursday (January 15) to address any concerns.”
