The Royal Household have announced the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Haringey Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning British monarch. Our deepest condolences are with the Royal Family.

Tributes and donations
At Buckingham Palace members of the public will be guided to lay floral tributes at dedicated sites in The Green Park or Hyde Park. Flowers left outside the gates of Buckingham Palace will be moved to The Green Park Floral Tribute Garden by The Royal Parks.

Proclamation
“The Proclamation” is the official announcement of the new monarch.
The Proclamation will initially be read at St. James’s Palace, and then at the Royal Exchange in the City of London. More information about dates and timings of the Proclamation will be shared when available.
The Proclamation will then be read the following day in cities, boroughs, districts and counties across the country.
In Haringey the Proclamation ceremony for the new King will take place at 2.30pm on Sunday 11 September at George Meehan House.
The Mayor of Haringey and the Deputy Lieutenant will lead the ceremony. This event is open for the public to attend.
Civic Service of Remembrance
There will be a Civic Service of Remembrance for Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, in partnership with St Michael’s Church Wood Green.
This will be a community led multi-faith service, bringing together: faith representatives, councillors, community leaders, and local partners to offer tributes and commemorate Her Late Majesty the Queen, ahead of her State Funeral.
This service will be held at St Michael’s Church, Bounds Green Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8HE and we ask that you arrive between 6.30 and 6.55pm to allow the service to start at 7pm, and draw to a close after the Moment of National Mourning at 8pm.
Please note that there is a set capacity of seating at the Church, and there will be 50 seats available to the public.
