Mayor’s football tournament raises vital funds for Mind in Haringey

The Mayor of Haringey, Cllr Gina Adamou, hosted a football tournament at Tottenham Community Sports Centre on Thursday evening to raise vital funds for Mind in Haringey.

The event, which was sponsored by Metro Bank and also featured a raffle and networking session, raised £360 towards Mind in Haringey’s important work providing mental health support for the Haringey community.

Nine teams competed in the 5-a-side football tournament, which was won by a team made up of current and former Mind in Haringey staff and volunteers.

The Mayor and the Mind in Haringey team expressed their sincere gratitude to everyone who took part and generously donated, as well as to Metro Bank for their support in making the event happen.
