Parks and green, open spaces
All council-run parks and green, open spaces remain open here in Haringey amid the Government’s tighter national restrictions, which came into effect yesterday (Thursday 5 November).
Children and families will be able to make use of the outdoor play areas in our parks.
All ball courts, outdoor gyms and sports pitches are however now closed. We ask all park users to please not use any equipment or facilities that are currently cordoned off.
Residents and visitors are reminded to continue to follow the Government’s advice and guidance on social distancing (external link) at our parks.
Dogs should always be kept on leads to ensure you are able to follow social distancing rules, and to allow all park users to enjoy our parks safely.
Independently owned cafes will be able to run a takeaway service only.
The public toilets in Finsbury Park will remain open.
We know how important parks are for residents’ wellbeing, and we want to thank everyone who has been using them responsibly during the pandemic.
