Finding your property
We recommend you type in the full postcode of the property and then pick your address from the list of matching addresses. Alternatively, you can enter your street name, but you’ll need to type in the whole word.
For example, if you want to find an address in Lordship Lane, typing in ‘Lord’ won’t return the right results. Instead, you’ll need to type in ‘Lordship’.
If your address is not in the drop-down list of matching addresses:
- look for the ‘show more results’ link and click on that
- try searching for a different part of your address
We think the address search works really well, but if it’s not working for you, use our form to report a missing or incorrect address.
Important: do not rely on these maps for the confirmation of legal ownership boundaries. Legal ownership boundary information should only be relied upon from your own legal title deeds and/or from HM Land Registry title investigations.
My Property
The My Property page shows you information relating to your individual property - if you live in a Controlled Parking Zone, or a Conservation Area, who your local councillors are, nearby planning applications and more.
My Nearest
The My Nearest page shows you the nearest services to your property.
Click on the headings to see the services in that section. You’ll only see the closest services to you. So if you want to see more visit the My Maps page.
My Maps
The My Maps page lets you decide what information you want to be shown on a map. The list of options can be hidden if you want to see more of the map.
Click on the plus and minus buttons to zoom in and out of the map, or click and drag with your mouse to move around.
Tick the boxes next to any of the services you want to be displayed on the map. If you’ve zoomed in very far on the map, you might need to zoom out again in order to see anything.
When you see an icon on the map, clicking on it will open a pop-up box with more information about that feature.
