Mobilise – online support for unpaid carers
Mobilise is a new online service for unpaid carers in Haringey that provides help, advice and coaching to those in need.
If you care for someone on a regular basis, such as a parent, partner, child, sibling, or neighbour or friend, who has a disability, long-term illness or is elderly, you may find it difficult to get support for anything from finances to legal rights, hospital discharge to emergency planning, mealtimes to continence or even just finding time for yourself.
Mobilise will work alongside the existing support provided by Haringey Council, offering a variety of online resources, such as blogs, individualised coaching sessions, help guides, regular email contact, and even one-on-one support calls, seven days a week. Carers will also be to connect with other carers over 'virtual cuppas'.
The Mobilise service is run by carers for carers and is free for Haringey residents.
