When you will get paid Housing Benefit

Payments made to:

• council tenant rent accounts are every week
• private tenants are every 2 weeks in arrears
• landlords are every 4 weeks in arrears

Payments are processed on Monday and Thursday and take 3 working days to go through. Allow 1 extra day for a bank holiday.
