(Workspace - The Chocolate Factory in Wood Green)
Opportunity Haringey, our inclusive economy framework, seeks to encourage additional workspace in the borough, recognising the important role workspace plays in creating and supporting Good Work, local jobs and a diverse local economy. Workspace and affordable workspace providers looking to operate or scale up workspace in Haringey may be eligible for financial support for fit-out and capital works through Haringey's available loan funding.
How it works
A workspace provider is a company or organisation that operates commercial or industrial spaces, subdivided and let to multiple tenants on a part- or full-time basis. They may also offer flexible lease terms, shared amenities, and business support services.
The Haringey Affordable Workspace Provider Network comprises a list of active workspace providers that are:
- interested in moving to or expanding within Haringey
- able to lease, fit out and operate space as flexible workspace
- willing to provide flexible workspace for developments with affordable workspace planning obligations in part or all of the space
We encourage developers and property owners to connect with workspace providers in the network early in the planning stages. It's an opportunity to discuss affordable workspace for their Haringey developments and undergo their own due diligence processes before starting any contractual agreements.
