Childcare/early learning/education is good for children’s social, physical and mental development and also helps them to prepare for school – giving your child the best start in life.

From September 2024, working parents will be able to access more support with childcare costs.
If your child is between 9 and 23 months old, you could get up to 15 hours of free childcare.
