Council budget

The budget book includes:

• the local authority general fund budget for 2024 to 2025
• a 5-year projection of the capital programme

From April 2024 to March 2025, we have budgeted:

• £302.05 million for providing council services
• £147.38 million for the housing revenue account

We will also receive £218.74 million in dedicated schools grant funding.

The 2024 to 2025 budget was approved by Full Council on 4 March 2024.
