The right to erasure or the right to be forgotten
You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. It doesn’t apply to data that the council has used to meet its legal obligations or when it is carrying out its statutory duties as a local authority.

The right to rectification
You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. This right always applies.
You will need to tell us what data you want corrected and what you want it corrected to. It will be helpful to provide evidence to support your request if you have it available.

The right to restrict of processing
You can ask us to limit the ways we use your personal data, including asking us not to delete it. This right only applies in limited circumstances.

The right to object to processing
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data. This right only applies to processing which is done on lawful basis of public task or legitimate interests. We may not need to stop using your data if we have compelling reasons to continue to process it.

The right to data portability
You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us from one organisation to another, or to give it back to you. The right only applies to information you have given us and if we are processing it based on the lawful basis of contract, consent or automated processing.
