Notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists in the office of councillor for the above ward following the resignation of Mike Hakata.
Under Section 89(3) of the Local Government Act 1972, no by-election shall be held if the vacancy occurs within six months of the day on which the councillor would have retired.
The next scheduled election for this ward will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026, and the vacancy will be filled at that election.
