Voter ID

The UK Government has made it a requirement for voters to show photo ID when voting at a polling station.

Forms of ID that we can accept

You may already have a form of photo ID that is acceptable.

• the photo on your ID must look like you
• you can still use your ID even if it has expired

Forms of ID that we cannot accept

You can't use:

• work and student passes
• photocopies or pictures on mobile phones – only original documents are accepted
