Haringey Community Carbon Fund

About the fund, eligibility and guidance

The Haringey Community Carbon Fund (HCCF):

  • supports the delivery of community-led decarbonisation projects that benefit Haringey residents
  • has been a success with more than 36 projects being funded in the first 4 years. In April 2025, the Haringey Cabinet approved the extension for another 4 years with increased funding to a total pot of £400,000
  • is funded by Section 106 planning contributions from new developments. Where developers prove they cannot meet the necessary standards on site, they must make a 'carbon offset' payment
