Guide for flooding preparedness (for businesses)
We're investing nearly £5 million in flood defences across Haringey, but flash flooding – also known as surface water or sewer flooding – is difficult to predict.
It often happens quickly and with fast flowing water that could pose a risk to life. It is more likely to happen during intense summer storms but can occur any time of year.
