Andrew MacDonald: What it is to be Human

Artist Andrew MacDonald’s practice has always been about people. His work reflects a continual fascination with who we are, how we feel, what our history etches onto our features and our responses and relationship to the world around us. The show will include his twelve Food Bank Portraits completed during 2024 to raise awareness of food poverty, as well as commissioned work.

The exhibition is free to enter and everyone is welcome.

Andrew MacDonald’s exhibition will run at Highgate Gallery from Friday 7 to Thursday 20 March 2025.

Highgate Gallery opening days and times:

• Wednesday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm
• Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 4pm
• closed Monday and Tuesday
