Construction Apprenticeship Discovery Event

Join us on Wednesday 12 February for our Apprenticeships Discovery Event and understand how you can learn, earn and achieve while working towards industry-recognised Level 2 and 3 qualifications.

Wates will be highlighting 20 roles within construction, including:

• plastering
• groundwork
• electrical
• customer service
• installation
• plumbing
• heat technician
• carpentry

This event is for:

• candidates aged 16+ years old. There is no upper age limit to the apprenticeships
• school leavers looking for their first step into a career
• anyone looking to start a new career in construction

The day will consist of information about the different roles and the application process.

Residents will have the opportunity to apply for roles on the day and will be given a unique reference number to put on the application form. Application forms will take roughly 15 minutes to complete.

• hear from past and present apprentices
• all roles are London Living Apprenticeship Wage (LLAW) – £11 per hour, so roughly £350 per week
• all roles start in September
• Haringey Works will be bringing laptops to help you complete the application form
