A joyful, welcoming workshop for LGBTQ+ people to explore belonging, identity and singing through life writing and shared music-making.
Led by folk musician Sophie Crawford and artist Ian Giles, this session offers a relaxed, supportive space to play with your voice — no experience needed.
Through gentle life writing, we’ll reflect on our stories of queerness and connection, then transform words into our own lyrics and collective anthems. Using call-and-response chants, shared rhythms, and simple vocal phrases, we’ll explore sound as a way to express pride, vulnerability and collective joy. Come as you are. Sing as you are. Leave with musical phrases and handmade anthems to carry confidence, connection and queer joy beyond the room.
Spaces can be booked through Eventbrite.
