Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)
CAMHS are NHS services that assess and treat young people with emotional, behavioural or mental health difficulties. CAMHS support covers many mental health illnesses like depression, problems with food, self-harm, violence or anger, bipolar disorder, anxiety and schizophrenia. Professions will refer to this service.
PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide)
If you’re having thoughts of suicide or are concerned for a young person who might be, contact PAPYRUS for confidential support and practical advice. Guides on how to spot the signs and ask if someone is feeling suicidal as well as how to start the conversation are available to download.
Educational Psychology Service
Psychological support for children, young people and their families to improve educational outcomes and meet developmental and psychological needs in range of settings: children’s centres, early years, schools, further education settings and more.

Haringey’s Wellbeing Network works with young people aged 16 years and over, who are leaving, or have left, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services or the Leaving Care Team.
