Hundreds of Haringey schoolchildren had a fabulous time during a Chicago Bears ‘Mini Monsters’ Camp at Duke’s Aldridge Academy in Tottenham on Tuesday.
The youngsters loved the drills and skills session alongside Chicago Bears wide receiver/WR Chase Claypool (aka ‘the Mapletron’), former Harlequins, England and British and Irish Lions rugby player and Question of Sport captain Ugo Monye and ex Bears and Philadelphia Eagles tight end/TE Kaseem Sinceno.
Claypool enthused afterwards:
I’ve had a great time and the kids have been awesome. They’ve been flying around and having fun. It has been cool.
Monye added:
It has been a brilliant day. If the volume is a barometer for how much the kids enjoyed it, then the noise for me was through the roof. The kids seemed to absolutely embrace it and want to get involved. For me, it has been a heartwarming morning.
