If you are looking for a new career, would like to learn more about Health and Social Care or have experience in the sector and would like to return, join us at the Information and Careers Event!
On 5 September from 12-3pm at Wood Green Library, you can drop-in to find out more about the industry and apply for roles.
- One space will be dedicated to learning about occupations from a former health care professional and about the various types of jobs available. There will also be a presentation at 12:30pm and another at 1:30pm.
- Another space will be run by Haringey Learns, where you will have the opportunity to find out about free Health and Adult Social Care courses and how to join the sector if you hold an international qualification. You can also find out more about course content. The sessions are suitable for both English speakers and those with English as a second language.
- The final space will be run by Haringey Works, the council’s employment service. Our experienced Employment Advisors will be on hand to sign you up to the service and to tell you about some of the Health and Social Care opportunities we have available right now!

Please note, Haringey Works services are only available for people who live in Haringey. If you are from a neighbouring borough, we will sign post you to similar services. Haringey Learns courses are available to all London residents.
