The Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, Mete Coban MBE, says Haringey is leading the way towards a fairer and greener capital city.

His comments came during a visit to Haringey for the major announcement by the council’s Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure, Cllr Emily Arkell, on the significant investment of £1.5m in eight parks towards the east of the borough.

This timely boost for thousands of residents will see park users benefitting from much-improved facilities and amenities across the N15, N17 and N22 areas.
