Representatives of the Park Road Lido Users Group met with Haringey Council’s Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure Cllr Emily Arkell and council staff for productive discussions at the leisure centre.

Planned improvements for the facilities were a key theme during the gathering and Cllr Arkell and colleagues listened carefully to concerns and issues raised.

The council brought the facilities at Park Road Leisure Centre and Lido, Tottenham Green Leisure Centre and Broadwater Farm Community Centre back under its direct control in October 2024.

It inherited a backlog of maintenance and repairs and plan to invest over £3.6m in the next 12 months to improve the facilities and buildings.

A dedicated webpage to keep you up-to-date on the repairs and improvements at leisure centres has been created.
