The borough organised an array of events, ensuring something for everyone, from sports and swimming to cycling lessons.
The week kicked off with roller-skating classes at Tottenham Community Sports Centre, offering children a chance to express themselves through movement and style.
The young skaters learned tricks, danced to music, and showcased their unique skills. Roller-skating also helped them gain control over their movements and navigate their surroundings independently.
Youngsters also participated in various sports, including football, cricket, and tennis, providing them with the perfect outlet to get active. Many children took part in the Learn to Ride (LTR) program which was held Lordship Recreation ground. The two-hour course spread over two consecutive days, saw reception-age children and above eagerly master cycling.
Older children had their fair share of activities, with opportunities to engage in cooking, media workshops, arts and crafts, training sessions, competitions, PS5 gaming, pool, table tennis, trips, and more. All these events were part of the engaging Project 2020 initiative.
It was a half-term to remember, filled with opportunities for fun, learning, and growth for the young residents of Haringey.
The borough is always bursting with activities. Keep an eye on the "What's On?" calendar, which lists all activities and events for children and young people by date, venue, or month. New events are added regularly, so check back often!
