With the emphasis being on fun for all the family, participants enjoyed an unforgettable day filled with excitement and laughter as they got to experience free junior swimming, inflatables galore, junior gym taster sessions, multi-sports activities, £1 soft play and taster sessions.
This was the second of two Open Days to have taken place across Haringey’s four Active Wellbeing Leisure Centres this month, with the first one occurring at New River last Tuesday (5 August 2025).
That was another community-focused event packed with exciting activities and fun including athletics, basketball, football and much more besides.
That’s not all either!
We’ll be holding another Open Day on Wednesday 27 August at Park Road Leisure Centre, where our younger attendees will get to have a go on the hula hoops, enjoy dance and yoga/massage sessions, have their faces painted and experience some Tai Chai.
Swimming will also be available at the Lido and the indoor pools.
