For young people
These websites can help young people to build this self-awareness:
- Find tips for self-care from the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families here (external link). This comprehensive page covers strategies and information.
- The Mix's guide to self-care (external link) includes a few tips to understand and provide self-care. This is an excellent introduction to the subject for young people.
- Kooth is an online mental wellbeing community (external link) that allows children and young people to get advice from clinicians and benefit from peer support. It's free to use in Haringey for young people aged 11-25.
- Our Anchor Approach team has created a 1-page ‘Thought for the day’ resource that supports children and young people’s emotional wellbeing by using affirmations and self- reflection:
