Haringey CIL is spent in accordance with relevant legislation and our CIL Governance document, as follows:
- 5% is spent on the administrative expenses we incur when collecting and spending CIL
- 15% is spent on Neighbourhood CIL (NCIL) projects – these are projects identified in consultation with local neighbourhoods. The 15% figure increases to 25% in areas where there is an adopted neighbourhood plan
- the remaining 70-80% of CIL is spent on Strategic CIL (SCIL) projects
Mayoral (Mayor of London) CIL is spent by the Mayor to fund roads or other transport facilities, for example, Crossrail.
