Previous consultation – issues and options 2016

This consultation ran from 8 February to 20 March 2016.

The issues and options stage represents the very first stage in the production of an Area Action Plan (AAP).

It identifies the key issues, challenges and opportunities facing the area and sets out 4 different options. The options include one favoured by us, for how these challenges might be addressed and opportunities realised. The AAP will ultimately guide development and investment decisions in the area and will be used in dealing with planning applications.

The purpose of the consultation on the issues and options document was to:

• invite public and stakeholder views and comments to enable consultees to offer up further information of relevance to the development of the Plan
• indicate which option they consider we should progress with to the next stage – a more detailed preferred option
