Placemaking plans for Seven Sisters and the Wards Corner site

Our plans to work with the community on any future development of the Wards Corner site.

We are committed to doing things differently and doing things together. In July 2022, we announced that there would be a new council-led approach to any future development of Wards Corner.

We have now acquired many of the buildings that were formerly in private ownership, and we want to co-design plans for this culturally rich corner of Haringey with you, the local community.

Alongside council-led plans, TTLP (the commercial property arm of Transport for London, owners of the Seven Sisters Market building) are refurbishing the space in partnership with a trader-led community group. Two temporary market spaces, indoor and outdoor, will be opening in summer 2025.

Your Seven Sisters

We are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for residents, partners and stakeholders to participate and share their thoughts on the issues that matter to them.

We want to work together to develop a plan for change and improvements to homes, public spaces and streets across Seven Sisters.

See the Your Seven Sisters engagement website to stay up to date.
