Haringey Council continues to offer a school clothing grant to help with the cost of school uniforms.
The deadline to apply is 31 March 2026.
Who can apply?
You can apply for a one-off School Clothing Grant of £60 if all the following apply:
- your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, and they are transferring to secondary school in September 2025
- you live in Haringey
- you receive a qualifying benefit that makes your child eligible for free school meals (FSM) at the time you apply. Check the list of qualifying benefits at GOV.UK
What can the grant be used for?
You can use the grant to buy:
- school clothes
- school shoes for your child
We may ask to see receipts as proof of what you bought.

This form is only for the school clothing grant. FSM applications must be made through your child’s school.
