Request the Education Welfare Service issue a penalty notice for an unauthorised leave of absence (holiday).

In line with Haringey’s statutory action guidance, schools can request penalty notice(s) to be issued for unauthorised leave of absence during the school term (holiday). • if all relevant supporting document and evidence is not provided, or it is not appropriate to issue the penalty notice, the Education Welfare Officer will contact you to discuss further and provide appropriate advice
