Chance UK is a London-based charity with over 25 years of experience working with children who have faced trauma. It provides evidence-based interventions tailored to each child's needs through one-to-one mentoring, group sessions, and school workshops. It also offers specialist support to families, helping them build knowledge, skills, and resilience. When needed, it collaborates with schools and other support services.
Mentoring programmes for children aged 5 to 13:
- LIFT Programme: supports girls aged 9 to 13 vulnerable to or affected by domestic abuse, focusing on healthy relationships, consent, and self-confidence
- Westminster Programme: helps children aged 8 to 13 with emotional or mental health struggles or special educational needs, aiming to build resilience and reduce risk-taking behaviour
- My Future Programme: assists children aged 5 to 13 in managing emotions and behaviour, enhancing self-esteem and self-regulation
- Safer Space Plus Programme: supports children aged 8 to 11 in building self-esteem and raising awareness of domestic abuse
- STEP Programme: aids children in Year 6 or 7 transitioning to secondary school, focusing on emotional wellbeing and resilience
Parenting Programme: this programme runs alongside child support programmes to assist parents and carers.
