The Sleep Charity advocates for improved sleep support and access to free, high-quality information. 

Blanche Nevile School for the Deaf - secondary school

The secondary school at Blanche Nevile School for the Deaf provides a high-quality education for deaf and hearing-impaired children from all areas of London. It is co-located with Fortismere Mainstream School and offers a unique signed bilingual model of communication for these children.

The Brook on Broadwaters

The Brook on Broadwaters is for pupils aged 4 - 11 years.

It specialises in co-educational day school provision for children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, profound, severe and complex learning difficulties plus associated physical, sensory, medical, communication and emotional needs.

The Grove School

The Grove School is a specialist school in Haringey which caters for pupils aged 5 to 19 who have a primary diagnosis of autism.

Many pupils have additional needs including, speech and language difficulties or difficulties associated with social communication. The school offers educational pathways for pupils who are working within the semi-formal curriculum through to GCSE examinations.  

Riverside Secondary School

Riverside is a co-educational maintained secondary special school located on the same site Woodside High School. 

Students at Riverside experience a wide range of learning challenges, from the highest functioning to the most complex, including general, moderate, complex, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Most students transition to college at year 11, but a small cohort stays at Riverside for their Post-16 years, where they also take a range of accredited courses. 

Vale School - secondary

A secondary aged student will attend our Secondary Department which is co-located with Duke's Aldridge Academy. Students have a programme tailored to their individual needs, ranging from specialist teaching to full mainstream inclusion.

The secondary department is organised into six Tutor Groups and a support network for included students.

Specialist Employment Adviser

The adviser supports Haringey residents aged 18 to 34 with disabilities and autism in finding high-quality jobs that align with their individual goals. 

Speech and Language UK Charity

Speech and Language UK is a charity that gives children and young people the skills they need so they aren’t left behind, waiting to be understood. 

Their free resources and services can help you understand what to look out for, your child’s speech, language, and communication milestones, how to get support, and even some simple ways you can help your child at home.

They create tools for schools and nurseries and advise and guide families.
