Empowering Deaf Society (EDS) is a Deaf-led charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for deaf people by ensuring that all Deaf people have equal access and equality of opportunity without discrimination.

They deliver services aimed at providing support through information and advice, signposting, workshops and events, and signature-accredited BSL Courses across Greater London.

The British Deaf Association (BDA) is the UK’s national Deaf-led membership organisation representing Deaf people who use British Sign Language (BSL) in the UK and Irish Sign Language (ISL) in Northern Ireland.

They exist to ensure a world in which the language, culture, community, diversity and heritage of Deaf people in the UK is respected and fully protected.

There are options for those who may need extra care and support to stay in their homes, would like support to live independently, or are considering residential care.

HENRY provides a wide range of support for families from pregnancy to age 12, including workshops, programs, resources, and online help. Insight Platform offers free, friendly, and confidential support for young people up to 25 in Haringey who are using or affected by drugs and alcohol.

Help finding work, jobs in schools, jobs with children and young people, working for Haringey.

If you’re aged 19 or over, on a further education course and facing financial hardship, you could get Learner Support. Learner Support can help pay for things you need to attend your course or study that are not covered by your course fees.

Mencap is a UK charity for people with learning disabilities. It supports people with learning disabilities, their families, carers, and professionals with help, advice, education, campaigns, activism, and more.

Open Door is a charity based in Tottenham that specialises in the mental health and emotional well-being of adolescents and young adults aged 12-24. They provide easy access to a range of free evidence-based therapies delivered by an experienced team of therapists.
