What we consulted on
Towards the end of the LTN trials, we ran a consultation seeking your views to help us to decide whether to make the LTNs permanent.
The consultation ran from 23 August until 20 September 2024.
Feedback was collected via an online form and paper questionnaires.
Separate surveys were also carried out with disabled people and carers.
Blue badge holders living in Haringey were contacted separately.

Decision
Following the consultation on LTNs which closed in September 2024, on 10 December 2024 the Cabinet made the decision to:
- approve all 3 LTNs
- make permanent the heavy goods vehicles (HGV) ban on Downhills Way/Belmont Road

We will be making permanent traffic orders in February 2025, in accordance with the national Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996.
