A culturally sensitive programme that supports parents to strengthen their parenting skills and enhance relationships with their children.

It addresses issues relating to community violence – including drugs, guns and knife crime.

The programme length is 13 weeks – 3 hours per week.

Age range: for parents with children aged 3 to 18 years

A group for mothers who experience low mood or anxiety and for parents who would like support with the emotional challenges of parenting.

Markfield SENDIASS advisers will be onsite at Muswell Hill Family Hub to offer parents and carers one-to-one, confidential 20-minute advice sessions about special educational needs. SENDIASS offers help with navigating the Special Educational Needs system including:

Free NHS psychological therapy service offering support for a range of common mental health difficulties, such as:

• depression and anxiety
• obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• other common mental health issues
