Join us for a special, intimate encounter with Santa at one of Haringey's oldest historic buildings: St Mary's Church Tower Grotto!

On Sunday, 30 November 2025, North Gate Park in Harringay will transform into a festive wonderland as it hosts its first-ever mini-Christmas market. The Hill Group and Peabody warmly invite residents and prospective homebuyers to join in the seasonal celebrations.

Visitors can expect a joyful day filled with family-friendly activities, festive treats and a magical atmosphere as North Gate Park kicks off the holiday season in style.

Spaces are limited, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure their spot.

We're holding our SECOND Festive Dog Show as a community celebration of our fur family and to raise funds for emergency supplies for those experiencing homelessness (sleeping bags, warm clothes etc.)!

All are welcome, street dogs especially welcome! We will be kicking off at 1pm! Enter your fur-friend into our competition, with categories including ‘family resemblance’, ‘waggiest tail’ and ‘best costume’.

Our markets offer a range of treasures - from the most intricate vase to the simplest yet classy cup. Check out the variety of pieces, chat with the people who made them, and see why pottery has become so popular around London. Avoid the last-minute Christmas stress and pick up a locally made gift that’s made with care while supporting small businesses nearby.

This year Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution will be hosting 2 Christmas/winter fairs back-to-back.

Each fair takes place over 3 days: Friday 28 to Sunday 30 November and Friday 5 to Sunday 7 December – the opening times for each day vary:
