See our holiday service pages for information on adult social care services over the Christmas and New Year period.
We are inviting Haringey residents with direct experience of home care or reablement services to join a focus group to help us shape the future of our home care services.
Home care is a service where a paid carer comes to your home to help you with things like dressing or bathing.
Reablement is where, following a period of illness (usually a hospital admission), you receive support for up to 6 weeks to help you regain your independence and stay well at home.

Your views will influence things like:
You must be available to attend meetings for an average of 2 to 8 hours per month, which will take place predominantly during working hours. Meetings will be mostly online, with some hybrid/in-person sessions. You must be able to attend in all meeting formats.
This is a voluntary opportunity open to Haringey residents only:
If you’d like to apply, please email adults.commissioning@haringey.gov.uk
Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful difference in your community.
