If you move in to or out of a non-domestic property, or you own a property that is occupied or vacant, contact us so we can:

  • work out the correct charge for you
  • award any relief or exemption you may qualify for
  • send you a correct bill as soon as possible

Before you move in to a business premises

If you are thinking about moving into a business premises and want to know how the property has been valued so you can forecast your business expenses, you can check the valuation with the Valuation Office Agency.

Moving in to a business premises

If you have moved into a business premises in Haringey contact the business rates team.

You need to give us:

  • a copy of your lease, tenancy agreement or licence
  • your email
  • a contact telephone number so that we can contact if we need further information

Moving out of a business premises

If you have moved out of a business premises in Haringey contact the business rates team.

You will still be liable for the business rates at the premises if your lease or tenancy agreement has not ended.

You need to tell us:

  • the date your lease or tenancy ended
  • a contact address for us to send your closing bill
  • the name of the new owner or tenant of the premises
