A warm welcome this winter

Where you can go in Haringey in cold weather. Warm up from the beginning of October to the end of March.

Haringey Warm Welcome is a network of inclusive, warm, and welcoming spaces across Haringey that are run by local businesses, organisations, and places of worship.

We know that some residents may be finding it hard to keep their homes warm due to rising energy costs, so these spaces provide a warm, safe place for residents to go, meet new people get some refreshments (where available), and take part in fun activities.

Everyone is welcome at all Warm Welcome spaces across Haringey.

Wall of Kindness

In some spaces within the Haringey Warm Welcome Network, you can pick up a food or drink item for free while keeping warm.

All you need to do is pick up a voucher from the Wall of Kindness, take it to the counter, and the item on it is yours for free. Anyone is welcome to take from the Wall of Kindness.

Just remember to pay forward this generosity in an act of kindness to someone else. It could be as simple as a smile or an offer of help to someone else who might need it.

The kindness starts with you!

Pay it forward

If you see a 'Warm Welcome' sign in a shop or window, you can pay for an extra cup of coffee, a pastry, or even a sandwich for someone who may need it. Once you've paid, a voucher is placed on the 'Wall of Kindness' for someone who needs it to pick up.
