Walk This Way – Reclaiming Our Woods

My name is Aashna, and I’m a local resident in Muswell Hill and I am really passionate about civic engagement and community action.

I am organising a community walk called 'Walk This Way – Reclaiming Our Woods' on Sunday 4 May 2025 at 10am in Coldfall Woods.

Why this walk matters:

For many women, walking alone – even in daylight – can be an anxiety-inducing experience. Coldfall Woods is a beautiful part of our community, yet it can feel inaccessible or unsafe for women, especially during quieter hours. This event seeks to reclaim that space – together.

The walk is free, limited to 20 participants, and will include free water bottles for attendees (while encouraging everyone to bring their own to reduce waste). The atmosphere will be welcoming, calm, and inclusive – it’s about coming together for a shared cause in a safe and uplifting way.
