Join us this September as we celebrate International Recovery Month in Haringey – a time to honour the achievements, creativity and power of recovery communities.  

All events are open to the public and are completely free. We hope there is something for everyone. 

Public events during International Recovery Month

Wellbeing Walks across Haringey

Every Monday

Haringey Wellbeing Walks are free and led by trained walk leader volunteers, offering group walks across Haringey’s parks and green spaces.

EmpowerHerHaringey Women's Collective – Nurture Yourself

Thursday 4 September

Join Ilaine Solanke for a self-care workshop designed for women. The workshop will include movement and remedial therapy.

Street art workshops

Every Wednesday in September

Within different locations in the borough including Markfield Skate Park, The Pavilion and across Haringey. Open to all and materials provided for free. Spread your mark on the borough.

The 17th FAVOR UK Recovery Walk in Wolverhampton

Saturday 13 September

Celebrate recovery, resilience, and hope. This free event will feature speakers, family-friendly activities,workshops, food, exhibitions, advice, information and performances.

FAVOR UK conference

Friday 12 September

‘I can’t, we can– community and unity in addiction recovery’. Speakers include people with lived experience leading initiatives locally and academics.

Sexual Health Week: Chronically Online

15 to 21 September

We’ll look at how RSE can empower young people to think critically about the content they consume. We’ll explore how integrating digital and face-to-face sexual health services can help address health inequalities. And we’ll amplify the voices of those using their platforms to combat stigma and misinformation online.
