Together, we want to create better community mental health in Haringey. Our joined-up way of working in the new Roger Sylvester Centre at Canning Crescent will honour the memory of the man it is named after, by making it easier for more in the borough to get the help they need.
Haringey Council, Clarendon Recovery College, Mind in Haringey, and the North London NHS Foundation Trust are proud to be working together on this new centre.
If you would like to refer yourself, or a loved one, to any of the services, you can do so below:
- Clarendon Recovery College (CRC) is available to people who are interested in knowing more about maintaining their own wellbeing and good mental health, or the mental health of people they know. Our courses are free for all Haringey residents aged 18 and over
- Safe Haven Crisis Hub, run by Mind in Haringey, is a service for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis. It is a non-clinical short term intervention to help reduce mental health crisis and isolation. This support is offered by peer support workers
- Crisis Prevention House (CPH) operated by the North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT). CPH provides short-term support for individuals experiencing mental health crises, aiming to help them recover and reintegrate into the community. The CPH offers a supportive, recovery-focused environment where individuals can receive assistance to prevent a crisis, manage existing crises, learn wellness skills, and address underlying issues contributing to their distress
